Join the Campaign

The Melanoma Research Alliance and the Melanoma Action Coalition have collaborated in creating the SunSavvy 365 campaign to stress the importance of protecting ourselves from the sun 365 days a year in the face of rising melanoma rates. We invite you to join our campaign and help amplify our message through your social media outlets. In addition to social media collateral, the toolkit also includes templates for a postcard, press release, and an email alert.

In order to make it as easy as possible to spread the word we have created posts that you can easily share. Remember that you can do as much or as little as you want. Download an overview of the toolkit here.

The campaign is packaged in a zip file. After you download the package, you may need to "decompress" it before accessing it. If needed, you can do this by right clicking the package and choosing "extract all." Additional instructions are available here for Windows.

Who Created the Campaign?

About the melanoma action coalition
,The Melanoma Action Coalition (MAC) accelerates the end of melanoma by bringing together more than 35 community-based foundations and advocates at the forefront of the effort, and providing the support they need to amplify their effectiveness and impact. about the melanoma research alliance
Founded in 2007 under the auspices of the Milken Institute, with the generous support of Debra and Leon Black, the Melanoma Research Alliance exists to accelerate treatment options and find a cure for melanoma. As the largest nonprofit funder of melanoma research, it has dedicated over $101 million and leveraged an additional $101 million towards its mission. Through its support, MRA has championed revolutions in immunotherapy, targeted therapies, novel combinations and diagnostics. Due to the ongoing support of its founders, 100 percent of donations to MRA go directly to its melanoma research program. MRA's ability to fund wide-ranging research in melanoma is amplified by unique collaborations and partnerships with individuals, private foundations, and corporations.
