The Melanoma Action Coalition (MAC) is a group of community-based melanoma foundations and individuals from across North America, working together to share information and provide mutual support. While valuing and preserving the unique mission of each of our member organizations, we are combining our voices in ways that make us more effective advocates for melanoma awareness, education, prevention, and research.
Join us at the Melanoma Research Alliance Patient and Advocate Forum
February 25, 2019 12:30-6:30 p.m. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Washington, D.C.
Join the Melanoma Research Alliance, the world's largest non-profit funder of melanoma research, for an exciting half-day meeting to learn about cutting-edge advances in melanoma treatment and how emerging research can benefit you and your family. The forum brings patients, survivors, and loved ones together with world-renowned melanoma clinicians and researchers to learn from each other, get support, and leave empowered. You'll walk away with practical tips and strategies to get the most out of your care while navigating melanoma diagnosis, treatment, or beyond. You'll also learn about emerging breakthrough areas in research such as microbiome, artificial intelligence, and the importance of clinical trials. Your free registration includes attendance, lunch, and an evening reception to mingle with MRA-funded physician-scientists.
MAC members: Join us for our Annual Meeting, just before the MRA Patient and Advocate Forum.
We are a growing coalition open to all community-based melanoma foundations. We also welcome individual supporting members as well as collaborative partnerships with other national organizations and foundations. Join us and add your voice to ours.
